The 6th Moringa Congress, the biggest gathering of Moringa Enthusiasts

The Moringa Congress is an event originated by the Moringaling Philippines Foundation Inc. (MPFI). It is the brainchild of MPFI founder Bernadette (Bernie) Estrella – Arellano, it serves as a gathering of Moringa enthusiasts from all walks of life, from researchers, farmers, health food producers, and people from the entertainment industry, business sector, the scientific community and the government. It aims to share the collective knowledge of the wonderful plant that is Moringa to the entire community.
MPFI is also a foundation in which Moringa & More’s founder, Mr. Pete Petisme, was a member of the board of directors up until his passing, he passed during the day of the 5th Moringa Congress held in 2012.

The theme of the 6th Moringa Congress is to promote the use of Moringa as the solution to malnutrition. Prestigious scientists and researchers from the DOST and FNRI were there to present their latest studies on the nutritional value and practical and commercial use of moringa as a food ingredient.

The congress also held workshops on how to start your own organic moringa farm, how to process it properly and how to promote it.
